Be an Auxo Assistant

We partner with U.S.-based virtual assistants who take pride in what they do and want to make a meaningful difference in the small businesses they support.

Before you applying, we recommend you review how we work, what we look for in assistants, and what you can expect from us.

How We Approach Support Partnerships

We’re intentional about who joins Auxo, how we match assistants with clients, and how we support those relationships because we believe great people, the right fit, and high standards make all the difference.

We Look At More Than What's on Your Resume

Your experience and technical skills matter, but they don't tell us everything about what makes you a great assistant. We want to understand how you think, solve problems, communicate, and take ownership of your work.

We also want to know what you're especially good at, what kind of work you enjoy, and where you'd like to grow. We're not looking for a cookie-cutter background or a resume full of impressive credentials that don't translate into high-caliber, proactive support.

What makes a great Auxo assistant?

Every Auxo assistant is expected to demonstrate the same eight core competencies. What those look like in practice depends on your role. Here's what we expect from our Administrative and Executive Assistants, with real-world examples of what great work looks like.

The Values Behind How We Work

how we approach the work

Proactive Excellence

We nerd out over spotting problems before they happen (no crystal ball required). We take pride in delivering the kind of work we'd want to receive ourselves.

how we consider people

Empathetic Ownership

We hold ourselves accountable to doing what we say we'll do, communicating with care, and treating people well along the way. Good work and good humans. We think you deserve both.

how we design solutions

Relentless Simplicity

We look for the clearest, simplest solution that actually works. Good systems, communication, and support should reduce friction, not create more of it.

how we pursue growth

Sustainable Ambition

We believe in big goals, meaningful growth, and working hard for what matters. We just don’t believe chaos, burnout, or constant urgency should be the price of success.

How our application process works

  1. 01

    Tell us about yourself

Complete an application so we can get an initial sense of your experience, strengths, availability, and the types of work you enjoy.

  2. 02

    Show us how you think

If your background looks like a potential fit, we'll invite you to answer some additional questions for us to understand how you approach challenges, exercise judgment, communicate, and take initiative.

  3. 03

Let's Get to Know Each Other

During a video interview, we'll learn more about your experience, strengths, and working style. It's also your opportunity to get to know Auxo, ask questions, and decide whether we're the kind of team you'd like to be part of.

  4. 04

    Let's Find Your Fit

Following your interview, we'll create a candidate profile highlighting your experience, strengths, and what makes you a great assistant. When an opportunity comes along that aligns with your skills, availability, and working style, we'll share the details with you first.

If you're interested, we'll present your profile to the client for consideration. If the client would like to learn more, we'll coordinate a Meet & Greet so you can get to know each other and see if it's a good fit on both sides.

  5. 05

    Getting Started

When you and the client are excited to move forward, we'll coordinate onboarding and develop a support plan outlining the client's priorities, expectations, and goals. We'll work with you to prepare for the relationship and help you start strong.

And our involvement doesn't end when you begin working together. We'll continue providing check-ins, feedback, and behind-the-scenes support to help you succeed.

Sound like your kind of work?

If you take pride in making things run a little smoother, solving problems, and being someone others can count on, we'd like to hear from you.
